Bojana Stamenov, known as the Serbian Aretha Franklin, comes from a musical blues family and is one of the most talented vocalists on the Serbian music scene.

 

She started performing form a very early age, from classical guitar, through renaissance and Arabic lute and several other instruments, to a lavish vocal interpretation of blues, funk, soul at numerous performances, concerts and guest appearances.

 

After participating and presenting herself in the third season of the national TV show "I’ve got talent", she began collaborating with famous musicians, started studio engagements and performing at blues festivals and music events across the country.

 

In 2015, she represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the composition "Beauty Never Lies".

 

In 2021, in collaboration with eminent musicians Gabor Bunford (sax), Dusan Milivojevic (guitar), Armand Mesaros (bass) and Goran Evetovic (drums), the blues band "Bojana Stamenov band" was formed. Their authentic blues sound, original compositions and recognizable energy leave no one indifferent.

 

Currently, the band is recording their first album in English.
